It is hard to conceive today, but way back when in the almost forgotten olden days, mani-pedi abrasives were "shared" between clients. Yes. Shocking. We recognized that this was not actually a good thing. Now we know that abrasive surfaces by their very nature accumulate small fragments that adhere tightly to the abrasive surface itself, making thorough cleaning impossible. Common sense finally prevailed and said "Abrasives should not be shared". So here we are today, and this practice is no longer acceptable. You're welcome.
